Ofcourse you can enjoy camping in North Portugal with your own tent or caravan, but you can also hire a fully equiped Teepee tent or do some luxurious camping in the ‘Boa Vista’ Lodge. If you’re into basic camping but don’t own any equipment, we offer the pointy tent for rent or other basic tent-sets for sale.

Teepees

Indian saying:

Experience the magic of the Indian teepee in Northern Portugal: A very ancient and natural form of pitching in the beautiful ecological area "Crasto". The height of the space combined with the round shape makes sleeping in a teepee very special.
The teepee is placed on a stone floor (Teepee Renabi) or on a ground sheet (Pi-Le Teepee) and have rugs on the floor
 
Back to Basic but with some blissful comfort. Outside a beautiful view awaits, you can enjoy your own terrace in all privacy and piece, complete with cozy seating. You can do your cooking on your private terrace as well, in a simple but fully equipped outdoor kitchen. Refrigerator, stove and kitchen utensils are provided. Of course you can also enjoy our Adega’s homemade fresh and traditional cooking. A tarpan provides sufficient shade and you can even sit under the vines.
 

The teepees are furnished with a 2-person ed with air matrass, including bedlinen. If desired, a maximum of 2 1-person beds can be added.
It can be fun to place an igloo tent aside the tepee for the kids.

We have 2 kinds of teepees: Teepee ‘Renabi’ and teepee “Pi-Le’:

Teepee ‘Renabi’
This original 5,5 meter Indian tent is an ancient form of camping. These kinds of teepees are still used by the native Americans during their festivities: it only takes them 15 minutes to place the poles, wrap canvas around them, place the ground cloth and create a ‘smoke hole’ and ‘door’. Our teepees await you ready and furnished. The Renabi teepees are set up at the end of a wine terrace which gives you a private terrace of 150 m2. Accommodated with garden furniture and beautiful mountain- and river views. During spring or autumn, you can even build a fire inside this authentic teepee, as they have a stone floor.

 
 
Teepee ‘Pi-Le’
The ‘Pi-Le’ is a 5 meter teepee, with one central pole. They don’t have a stone floor but a solid ground cloth with rugs
 

Quarto ‘Bom Dia’

Your stay in our charming Quarto will make you start the day with a ‘Bom Dia’. This sunny space, a kind of little studio, meets the need of many who can’t choose between the comfort of a rental house and the freedom and atmosphere of our camping.

The Quarto has been furnished with 2 beds, dining table and chairs, little cooking corner with kitchen utensils, sink, little fridge and 2 gas pits, wardrobe cabin and gas heater for the winter months.

Building and furnishing the Quarto, we once again remained faithful to the Portuguese tradition or re-using and recycling all available materials. Broken tiles turned into a mozaique kitchen, olive branches and eucalyptus caps are now a lamp hood, you will hang your coat on an old farmer’s utensil etc.

Of course, the Quarto comes with your own private terrace (with garden furniture as to fully enjoy the Portuguese sun and beautiful view) and access for your car.

You will have an exterior toilet and shower (shared with the Lodge Boa Vista) at your disposal. Ofcourse, you can also use the campings general sanitary.

In the morning you can have your breakfast served at your doorstep, using our ‘Breakfast service’. For 3,75 euro per person, fresh rolls, marmalade, cheese, salami, eg and orange juice will await you on your own terrace in the morning sun. Coffee, tea, sugar and milk already await you in the Quarto.

If desired, we can always place an air mattress or additional tent.
 

Lodge ‘Boa Vista’
This charming wooden lodge, with its twoo rooms and kitchen unit, offers a luxurious variation on camping. We call it ‘nature’s best’ ; enjoying all the beauty our terrain and surroundings have to offer but.. in style and comfort
The lodge accommodates 2 – 6 persons. It exists of a bedroom with a 2-persons boxspring, a lounge room which can be easily turned into a second bedroom and a camper unit with a fully equiped kitchen (refrigerator, cup boards, gas stove, sink, dining table, hot air heating etc.) If you still don’t feel like cooking yourself, come and dine at our Adega.
If desired, the camper unit can also be turned into a bedroom for 2 persons.
A wood stove brings you extra warmth and cosiness.
If you spend your vacation at the lodge, you will enjoy a breathtaking view over the river and mountains from your every day from the yard of your lazy a breathtaking view over the river and mountains (and even from your bed!). I’ll bet you that the hammock is your favorite place! Pointy tent
If you’re into old fashion camping but can’t bring along a great deal of luggage, the pointy tent may be a good solution. (As alternative, we also offer basic camping sets for sale: tent, sleeping bed and airbed.)
The ‘pointy’ tent is set up on a smaller shady terrace.The tent measures 1.80 x 3.50 m and has a small awning for luggage and such. A cooler is provided (every day new frozen cooling elements available at the bar) and gas cooker + kitchenware. They have an inside and outside tents and air mattresses are equipped with duvets and bed linen

The igloo tent can be placed as an extra tent in combination with all above tents / casa lodge. Including air mattress and bedding or sleeping bag
